Walther CCP Holster
IWB Holster Options for the Walther CCP
There are several holster options available for the Walther CCP, including a few Inside the Waistband options as well as Outside the Waistband options. For Concealed carry we offer an Appendix Carry AIWB Holster, a Tuckable IWB Holster, a Standard Custom Kydex IWB Holster and a Small of Back IWB Holster.
The CCP was introduced not too long ago by Walther Arms to much consumer excitement. The pistol uses a "Softcoil" gas-delayed blow back system that makes for a fairly soft shot, considering its small size and light weight. The recoil is less than other comparable pistols and very comfortable to shoot with many types of ammunition. Also of note, is the ease in which the slide is racked. This detail is great for those with lack of arm strength or pre existing injuries.

Inside the Waistband Holsters for the Walther CCP:
Dara Custom Kydex IWB Holster for the Walther CCP
This holster fits Inside the Waistband and can be carried anywhere on the waist. The holster is fully customizable and comes with every option available for IWB holsters. The most common carry position for our IWB Holster is at 3 o'clock (9 o'clock for you lefties) on the strong side hip. The popular specs for this holster is mid ride with a 7.5° forward cant. The forward cant will tilt the grip up and forward for a more comfortable draw. If you're not sure where you want to carry yet, mid ride with a straight draw is good for any position.

Most carriers are nervous about carrying in this position, but for those brave souls there is the Appendix Inside the Waistband Holster. This holster is intended to be concealed between 12 and 2 o'clock (10 o'clock for those lefties). The recommended specs for these holsters vary on the size of the pistol, but overall we say mid ride with a straight draw. If you're a seasoned AIWB carrier, carry in the 1:30-2 o'clock position, or you intend to sit a lot while you carry, you can go with a high ride and 7.5° reverse cant. This will position the gun higher on the body for less thigh jabbing, the gun will bend with you when you sit, and the slide will be positioned along the natural curve of your groin.
Dara Custom Kydex Small of Back IWB Holster for the Walther CCP
This holster is intended just as its no-nonsense name, for the small of back. We give two options for draw: the palm-in draw, which is just like carrying on the hip with your hand resting on the grip and palm facing in; and palm-out draw, with your slide facing to the left, palm out when drawing.
For Palm-In Draw: The specs you want may vary, but we recommend a larger cant angle the farther back you intend to carry. If you intend to carry at 4 o'clock, a 7.5 or 15° forward cant angle is just fine. You can even get away with a straight draw. If you intend to carry at the 5 o'clock position, we recommend a 15° forward cant angle. At 6 o'clock we recommend a 15-30° forward cant angle. The 30° forward cant is a heavily canted holster, which makes for better concealability and a comfortable draw.
For Palm-Out Draw: Palm out requires a reverse cant angle. The greater the cant, the more comfortable the draw. With reverse cant angles, a low ride will bury the grip, so keep your ride height at mid or high for easier access should you ever need to draw quickly.
Dara Custom Kydex Tuckable IWB Holster for the Walther CCP
This option is great for any concealed carrier that is required by their employer to tuck their shirts in at work. The holster has an extra Kydex plate attached between the belt clip that allows the wearer to tuck the shirt between the holster and the attachment. See picture below:
For another boost in concealability opt for the J-Hook attachment when building your Tuckable Holster. The J-Hook slides between the pants and belt and hooks up underneath to grab the belt when drawing. See below:
