One Suspect dead after Attempted Robbery

     One suspect is dead and another is on the run after a carjacking in Memphis, Tennessee on Monday night.

     Reports say a 31 year-old man was walking to his car from a Family Dollar store around 9 pm in
Memphis when two suspects approached the man with a handgun. The victim then took out his own firearm to defend himself and shot one suspect. The second suspect then shot the victim and took off with his car, ditched it, then ran off. The second suspect is not in custody. The first suspect died on the scene, the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
