     Introducing our Level II Duty Holster for the new H&K VP-40. Featuring two Levels of Retention, this holster is most popular with security and Law Enforcement personnel. However in recent months, the Duty Holster is becoming increasingly popular with those who open carry on a daily basis.

     The Dara Duty Holster features our Adjustable Military grade rubber retention system. This system comes standard on all Dara Holsters and Magazine Carriers, and is located in front of the trigger guard.

     The second level of retention is the rotating hood located at the top of the slide. This hood is completely manually operated, held in place by a molded detent with no springs or buttons that can easily break after time. The hood also features a molded thumb grip, making it easier and more comfortable to flip forward and draw.


     Above is a close up of the thumb throw, though not the VP 40 Duty holster, the thumb throw design is the same for all firearm makes/models.
